Troubles with Fine Lines

As we age, wrinkles become more noticeable. If left untreated, they can deepen gradually, becoming more prominent over time.

If you are have these concerns
  • Fine lines on the forehead and around the eyes have become noticeable
  • Feel like expression lines around the eyes have become deeper.
  • Recently, feeling like I look older。
  • Makeup tends to smudge easily

Wrinkles progress over time, and without proper care, they can worsen. To prevent fine lines from developing into pronounced wrinkles, it’s important to correctly identify the types of wrinkles and regularly maintain your skin with appropriate treatments to prevent their formation.

Our Clinic’s Treatment and Features

Fine Lines

Enhancing Natural Healing for a Natural Finish

In our clinic, we prioritize achieving a natural finish in the treatment of fine lines. Peeling and fractional needle RF therapy can normalize turnover, stimulate collagen production in the skin, and facilitate epidermal turnover through self-healing processes. By promoting the skin’s natural functions in this way, we guide it towards a natural, youthful, and healthy appearance.

Causes of Fine Lines

Dryness-induced fine lines

When the skin’s surface becomes dry and flaky, it can lead to fine lines resembling creases or linear lines. Particularly during dry seasons like winter, the drying effects of heating and air conditioning can exacerbate this condition. In severe cases, the surface of the stratum corneum becomes dry and flaky, causing the skin’s moisture to evaporate, resulting in skin contraction and the formation of fine lines.

Sun Exposure-Induced Fine Lines

Collagen and elastin provide firmness and elasticity to the skin from within, but ultraviolet radiation damages these components. This damage can lead to depression in the skin’s inner layers, making it prone to the development of large and deep wrinkles.

Age-Related Fine Lines

As one ages, the amount of collagen in the dermis decreases, and elastin, crucial for skin firmness, degrades. This is the cause of so-called fine lines and sagging. Since collagen levels tend to decrease from the late 20s onwards, early care is essential to maintain skin less prone to wrinkles.

Lifestyle-Related Fine Lines

Fine lines that occur when laughing or squinting, often referred to as “expression lines,” are a common example of this. We unconsciously make various facial expressions in our daily lives, and nasolabial folds and fine lines around the eyes are typical examples.

Treatment Methods

Peeling

If old corneocytes remain on the skin’s surface, they can cause various skin problems. Peeling promotes skin turnover, not only treating existing fine lines but also preparing the skin to be less prone to their formation. In our clinic, we offer two types of peeling, “Retinol Peel” and “Professional Peel,” and we guide you to the peeling that suits your preferences.

Fractional Needle RF

Fractional Needle RF therapy involves inserting medical-grade microneedles called micro-needles into the skin and irradiating it with RF (radiofrequency) to improve fine lines. By creating tiny punctate wounds with micro-needles, it stimulates the skin’s natural healing process, smooths the skin’s surface, generates collagen and elastin, and lifts the skin from within, leading to a youthful and elastic skin. In our clinic, we offer “Sylfirm X” Fractional Needle RF therapy.

Botox Injection

Botox injections are medical injections that use a substance called “botulinum toxin” produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. They are a cosmetic treatment that improves and prevents wrinkles and gives a slimming effect by temporarily inhibiting muscle movement by blocking the connection between nerves and muscles. At our clinic, we use the only Botox product approved in Japan, Botox Vista, made by the American company Allergan. The director of our clinic, who is very familiar with Botox Vista, will perform the treatment, so you can receive it with peace of mind.

Sunekos Injection

Sunekos injection is an anti-aging injection that provides a natural finish through a special blend of hyaluronic acid and six amino acids. The unique combination of non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid and six amino acids helps enhance the skin’s natural regenerative abilities, targeting fine lines (especially around the eyes and mouth). The solution is carefully injected using a 34G ultra-fine needle in a “hand-injected” hydrating injection style.
