What are Exosomes?
Exosomes are extracellular vesicles released from all types of cells that make up the body. They refer to particles with a diameter of less than 100 nanometers, containing microRNAs, messenger RNAs, DNA, proteins, and more. While exosomes are secreted from all cells that make up our bodies, mesenchymal stem cells are particularly known to release large amounts of exosomes.
Exosomes activate cells, promote vascular healing, and suppress inflammation that occurs within the body. Furthermore, by activating damaged or aging cells, they promote cell regeneration and contribute to skin turnover and anti-aging effects. - History of skin disorders, keloids, and/or hindered recovery from injuries
- Patients with blood clotting disorders or who have taken anticoagulants in the past 10 days
- Individuals deemed inappropriate for treatment by a physician
- Use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or anticoagulants in the week before treatment
- Undergoing chemical peels in the 1 to 6 weeks before treatment
- Use of Retin-A or retinol in the month before treatment
